Complete supplement for horses combining Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate, MSM and Rosehip with anti-oxidants for the maintenance of healthy joints
Repeated exercise and training can put a lot of stress on the joints of the horse. Flex Supp combines superior ingredients to support the mobility and joint health of the performance horse. The combined power of Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate & Sodium Hyaluronate work together with the added benefits of MSM, Rosehip, Selenium and Vitamin C.
Glucosamine is added to this supplement at appropriate levels as it is required for its role in the formation of glycosaminoglycans or GAG’s which are the building blocks for cartilage. Chondroitin Sulphate is the main GAG found in articular cartilage and is added as research suggests that it aids in prevention of joint degeneration. MSM or Methylsulfonylmethane is a source of bio-available Sulphur and is vital for healthy connective tissue and joint health. Studies have shown that MSM has significant antiinflammatory and analgesic properties. Sodium Hyaluronate is a major component of synovial fluid which keeps the joint lubricated.
Rosehip (Rosa Canina), Selenium and Vitamin C have been added for their anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Rosehip in particular has been shown to improve mobility and performance in supplemented horses and is a good source of Bioflavonoids.
